Exuviance Illumination Duo Review

Hey guys!

I have a review for you today.  This one is from a company called Exuviance which has all kinds of skin treatments and a little bit of makeup.  Exuviance skin care is clinically proven to reduce lines and wrinkles, increase firmness, smooth texture and even skin tone.  Also the company claims to provide full strength anti-aging benefits without any irritation to the skin.

The Exuviance Illumination Duo is the Evening Restoring Complex and the Vitamin C+ Anti-Aging Booster.  I was actually only sent a sample of the Evening Restoring Complex of the Duo.  The Evening Restoring Complex is claimed to reduce visible signs of aging while the Vitamin C+ Anti-Aging Booster is claimed to amp up the results from the Evening Restoring Complex as well as reduce the look of dark spots while increasing firmness and reducing the look of wrinkles.

The Illumination Duo will be found at Ulta stores nationwide for $77 for the full size or you can find them here.

I was also sent three samples of the Exuviance Performance Peel AP25 which I really enjoyed using.  Each of the packs had the instructions included in them to they were completely fool proof.  Each pack also came with the two step process in them as well as a promotional picture to show what you can expect to see after using the product twice a week for one month.

Step one of the process is the activator and is held in a teal pouch and is to be applied to a clean dry face.  The product is easy to apply since it is already on a pad inside the pouch.  This first step only needs to sit on the face for ten minutes before you can move on to step two; however, the company warns that if you observe any redness, or discomfort you need to move on to step two right away.  Don't be worried if you touch your face while the activator is on and your face feels a little sticky!

Step two is the neutralizer pad which is to be applied no more than ten minutes after you apply the activator.  After you apply the neutralizer pad, rinse your face with water and pat dry.  After that feel how smooth your face feels!  I honestly can't think of another time my face felt that smooth.  Not to mention my makeup applied like a dream the next morning.  After this two step process Exuviance states that a moisturizer needs to be applied and the Evening Restoring Complex is suggested as an option.
This was where I really tried the Evening Restoring Complex.  It smells pleasant, much more pleasant than I expected, and it didn't leave my face feeling oily the next morning.  If you want to purchase the Evening Restoring Complex by itself you can find it at Ulta for $48.  Also the Performance Peel Ap25 can be purchased from Ulta for $75 or here for $60.

The final item I recieved was the Exuviance OptiLight Essential 6 Serum.  The company claims that the product gently exfoliates to reduce the look of dark spots and to discourage any new spots from forming.  Over time the serum helps even pigment, brighten skin, and provide a balanced luminous complexion.  The serum can be found here for $72 or at Ulta also for $72

I know these are all pricy products, but from what I can tell I would consider purchasing the Performance Peel AP25 in the future.  I really love the way my skin feels after I use the system, and it my makeup applies flawlessly the next day.  Plus the full size is a six week supply which I could probably get away with using once a week instead of twice a week.

I hope y'all enjoyed this review!  I have several more lined up for the coming weeks, also be sure to check back tomorrow when I will have the preview for this week's race in Atlanta!

P.S. did you check out that awesome candle in the background?  It came from Hobby Lobby and I love it so much!  It's such a clean scent and it is taking a long time to burn down.  The actual candle holder is heavy as well so it will make a nice pencil holder after the candle is gone.

The products mentioned in this post were sent to me through a campaign from BrandBacker and Exuviance.  All opinions are 100% my own!
