Yumi Beautiful Asteria Facial Serum Review

Hey guys!

I hope you guys are staying warm today!  It is a frigid day here in Tennessee and completely deceivingly sunny outside.  Needless to say I have been staying indoors working on filming a few videos and preparing some posts!

I was sent the Yumi Beautiful Asteria Anti-Aging Facial Serum at the beginning of November.  The serum is marketed as an alternative to retinol because retinol isn't for everyone.  Some of the side effects of retinol according to the brand's Amazon post are "peeling, sensitivity, redness, and dryness." They claim that the product will give you firmer, more vibrant skin.  I would also like to point out that the serum is 100% risk free and Yumi Beautiful has a money back guarantee if you do not like the product.

According to Yumi Beautiful's website this serum contains "responsibly-harvested" sea star peptides" along with aloe to soothe and hyaluronic acid to lock in hydration.  Each bottle of the Asteria Anti-Aging Serum contains 0.5 fluid ounces of product for $32.99 on Amazon and $59.99 on the Yumi Beautiful website.

As you can see in the above picture each bottle is an air pump type of container that dispenses a dime sized amount of product each time.  The product itself absorbs quickly into the skin and has a light nearly undetectable scent.  After it absorbs my skin felt a little sticky; however, I always apply a moisturizer after my serum absorbs.  I personally don't feel like I have seen a huge difference in my skin in the time I have been using this serum, but I am still in my twenties so I feel that using this product is a preventative measure.

As you can see above included in the box was a tag that has the quote "There are flowers everywhere, for those who bother to look." - Henri Matisse.  I thought this was a sweet extra surprise in the package.

Overall I feel like I haven't experienced a difference in my skin since using this product; however, I will continue using the product and will update you in a future empties post.   The next thing I feel obligated to point out is that with the air pump it is hard to control how much product dispenses and I feel like I used half of the bottle very quickly.

Again this is marketed as an alternative to retinol, so if you have experienced redness, dryness, or any other discomfort due to retinol this is a serum for you.  You can find it for for $32.99 on Amazon and $59.99 on the Yumi Beautiful website.

I recieved the product mentioned above through a campaign with Yumi Beautiful and Tomoson.  All opinions are 100% my own.  This post contains affiliate links.
