It is nice to be back in the swing of updating and reviewing products for you guys! I know I have mentioned it before, but in case you missed it we recently moved and it took us several weeks to paint, move, and get organized. Not to mention right after we were settled in the new house we ended up having family fly in so I have gotten behind on everything. With all of that said, today I am reviewing blotting papers. I know that doesn't sound exciting but all of my oily friends will know how necessary these are!
These blotting papers can be found on Amazon for $7.47 for 200 blotting papers. As you can see above each pack contains 100 sheets each. In the past I have used the Clean and Clear version as well as the store brands and I always felt like they removed a layer of my makeup along with the oil on my face. I never found myself reaching for them for that reason. These blotting papers are much different than those and these more resemble tissue paper rather than the plastic blue sheets.
At first I thought that it would be difficult to get one sheet out of the pack since there isn't the sticky piece on the lid that grabs each sheet. However it isn't an issue to grab a single sheet unlike with the Clean and Clear sheets. I know the last pack I had of those the sticky piece wasn't grabbing any of the sheets so I would end up pulling at least five sheets out at a time which is wasteful.
Above you can see that the sheets barely removed any makeup, but they removed the excess oil from my face and left my makeup looking fresh.
Honestly these blotting sheets work well and they are a great value. Again these can be purchased on Amazon for $7.47 for 200 sheets.
I will be posting my update for Finish 5 by Cinco De Mayo and my Pan That Palette challenge tomorrow morning so be sure to check that out!
The product mentioned above was sent to me to review. All opinions are 100% my own!
